Do I need an API key to use Localify?

No. Cloud AI works out of the box with a free monthly quota. Power users can switch to BYOK at any time and connect DeepSeek, OpenAI, Gemini, Kimi or MiniMax directly.

Will translation break my layouts?

No. The Dual-Track Adaptation Engine scales font sizes or wraps lines within your constraints, then corrects X/Y positions to keep the visual center. Auto Layout never bursts.

Is my design data safe?

Yes. In BYOK mode, requests go directly from your client to your provider with zero middleware. In Cloud mode, text passes through our Worker only for translation and quota metering — it is never stored or used for training.

What happens when my quota runs out?

You can instantly top up with a 1000-credit pack ($5, never expires), or simply wait for the monthly reset.

What is a credit?

1 credit = 100 source characters. Credits are billed on the original text you translate — surrounding design context and your glossary are never charged.

Which languages are supported?
